Deciding on a colour palette for a rustic themed reception is surprisingly versatile. One can go for an all natural scheme, soft pastels, washed out brights or in our case, we opted for sunny yellow and to break it up a bit a little bit of lavender.
Having decided on the colour scheme, we opted for using décor elements that are naturally yellow or lavender in colour. This is a key factor when choosing to go the rustic route that one maintains an authentic look and your decorations have that "found" feel about them, rather than a man-made manufactured manner.
